Drawing from Acts, 1 Peter, and his own love of stonescaping, Mark explores one of Scripture’s most powerful images: believers as “living stones” being built into a spiritual house with Christ as the cornerstone. Along the way, he traces the surprising journey of stones in the Bible, from instruments of judgment and rejection to symbols of identity, purpose, and proclamation.
This sermon is an invitation to consider where your life is being built, what serves as your cornerstone, and how God places each of us exactly where we belong in His Church to bear witness to the hope of the Gospel.
